Dr. Bright graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2011. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists and Ontario Association of Optometrists. Prior to her optometry training, she completed her Bachelor of Science and Masters in Vision Science also at the University of Waterloo. Dr. Bright is qualified to prescribe therapeutic agents for the treatment and management of ocular disease. In addition to private practice, she holds a part-time faculty position at the UW School of Optometry. In 2018, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care awarded Dr. Bright as one of the top 40 Optometrists under 40 years of age in Canada!
Dr. Bright has a passion for providing eye care to those less fortunate and was part of a 6 week eye care mission in India. Dr. Bright enjoys all aspects of primary care optometry and is very enthusiastic about caring for patients of all ages. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young children, exploring the outdoors and loves to travel!
